2009 is the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin, the author of "Origin of Species". Some years ago the actor Christopher Robbie commissioned Sean Street to write a one-man play about Darwin. the result was "Beyond Paradise - The Wildlife of a Gentle Man", and since its creation, Christopher has performed the play hundreds of times. In this anniversary year, with interest re-kindled in Darwin and his work, "Beyond Paradise" can be seen at a number of venues around the UK. On March 31st/April 1st, it is to be staged at Theatr Clwyd in North Wales, and on 21 April, Christopher will perform it at London's Natural History Museum.
