Seán Street's collection, The Sound Recordist, is available from Maytree Press, and draws on a lifetime of programme making and sound recording. The twenty five poems in the sequence explore the relationship between the physical mechanics of recording sound, and the emotional, cultural and spiritual responses we encounter when experiencing the sonic world around us.
